asana

మాధవ్
Namaste:
I brought some kurma asana mat and doing japam on that. I did not do any pooja for that asana or anything special. Only thing I am particular about is that - nobody is sitting on that except me. After reading your book on asana, there is a lot more for the asana itself. So, would you please explain what are must follow things regarding asana and what is recommended?

Also, if one practicing guru padukas for sometime- how would you know you have gurus karuna (/siddhi)?
How would you recognize it?

Thanks

There are different types of kurmasana. This will differ as per the tradition. You must do asana Puja before you sit on it. Asan Puja is given in my books. This procedure changes from tradition to tradition. So, it is better to follow your guru ji instructions and tradition.

It is not important to know whether we have guru ji karuna or not but it is very important that whether we are loyal and honest to our guru and have utmost faith and respect on guru. If you possess these, then you will find his grace in all your moments.
